TORONTO (February 11, 2021) – The Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA) today announced a new partnership with Canadian fresh vegetable producer Fresh Attitude, which will kick-off during the 2021 Secret® Dream Gap Tour. Fresh Attitude—a Vegpro International brand of ready-to-eat salads—joins the PWHPA’s list of national partners for the Canadian leg of the tour.
Grown in-season and packed fresh year-round, Fresh Attitude salads is a welcomed addition to the PWHPA partners list, whose athletes rely on healthy food in order to maintain rigorous training schedules and refuel after competition. PWHPA players will partake in branded campaigns throughout the Secret® Dream Gap Tour where they will use Fresh Attitude products to put their cooking skills to the test and promote the importance of healthy eating.

Comprised of approximately 125 of the world’s best women hockey players, the PWHPA was formed to advocate for, and advance, equity, fairness and opportunity in women’s professional hockey. Specifically, the group is working to provide increased opportunity in women’s hockey with the goal of creating a sustainable league that pays a living wage to players, provides appropriate elite-level resources (i.e. ice time, facilities, trainers, etc.) and invests in marketing that showcases the players and game.
