Bottega Gold is now the Official Prosecco of the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association (PWHPA), thanks to an exciting new partnership. Bottega Gold Prosecco, a Noble Estates product, will serve as the exclusive Prosecco of the Professional Women’s Hockey Players Association with the mission to celebrate and support the world-class athletes of the PWHPA during 2020-21 season. This partnership is the perfect pairing to continue the growth and development of women’s hockey.
Noble Estates and Bottega Gold will be key figures during the 2021 Secret® Dream Gap tour; players on the winning team from each event will be presented with bottle of Bottega Gold—a soft, harmonious and elegant prosecco— to help celebrate their hard-earned accomplishments.
“Bottega Gold and Noble Estates Wine & Spirits are thrilled to be a part of this partnership with the PWHPA,” said Craig de Blois, President at Noble Estates Wine & Spirits. “We are pleased to celebrate women in hockey and supporting women in sport overall. Let’s toast to these golden moments with the official Prosecco of the PWHPA.”
“The PWHPA is proud to welcome Bottega Gold to our list of incredible partners,” explained Olympic Gold Medal winning Hockey Hall-of-Famer Jayna Hefford, who previously served as commissioner of the Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) and is currently the PWHPA Operations Consultant. “We believe in celebrating successes, both big and small, so as the official Prosecco of the PWHPA, Bottega Gold will be part of how we celebrate throughout the 2021 Secret Dream Gap Tour.”
The PWHPA is comprised of more than 125 players located within five regions throughout North America; Calgary, Montreal and Toronto in Canada, and Minnesota and New Hampshire in the United States. Current members include Olympians, National Team members and former NCAA, OUA and CWHL players.
